When it gets to this time of year, there’s always thousands of blog articles posted online about women’s fashion accessories, so this time I thought perhaps it might be a good idea for me to write something for the men. You see; even blokes like a bit of bling from time to time, especially when they’re planning on attending lots of cool Christmas and new year parties over the next couple of weeks. Even so, it’s sometimes difficult to know exactly which items to buy because the male mind isn’t designed for spending hours looking around shops – this is where I can help.
Below this paragraph are the accessories that have been selling best over the last few months, so deciding to purchase anything on this page is pretty much guaranteed to get you in with the in-crowd (for a couple of months anyway). You might want to get a pen and paper lads, because even though the people who work in your local stores are good at their jobs, they’re probably not going to find the product you need from a sentence like “you know; it’s that one on the internet, on that blog I read”.
This might surprise some of you, mainly because men have spent the last two decades beginning their girlfriends not to buy them novelty items. Still, things look set to change as we move into the first few months of 2014, and designers are encouraging us to try something a bit wacky for a while. Obviously you want to avoid anything with the looney toons on it, but there’s some really cool comedy ties if you know where to look.
What could be more “bling” than your very own set of diamond cufflinks, right? They’ve been all over the catwalk for quite some time, but now they’re in most mens designer clothing stores, and they’re priced surprisingly cheaply for what they are. You should have no trouble getting a cool pair for under £100, but if you really want to stand out from the crowd, there’s an Armani pair available for £448 online that’s guaranteed to turn some heads.
Raymond Weil Watches
This designer makes some pretty desirable ladies watches, but this year it’s all about the men. For £750.00, you can purchase the new Tango edition that boasts sapphire crystal glass and a silver Roman numeral number dial. There’s quite a few other cool designs in this range, so don’t worry if you can’t afford the top end models, this year Raymond Weil has something for everyone, regardless of personal tastes.
Alexander Mcqueen Wallet
The new python skin wallet from Alexander Mcqueen costs a little over £200 on the high street, so it might be a bit outside of some people’s budgets, but it’s still a really cool accessory that you really can’t afford to miss out on. I believe they’re actually limited edition, meaning you’ll have to act fast if you want to get hold of one before it’s too late.
So, now we’ve come to the end of this article, I hope I’ve managed to inspire you and give you some great ideas about which accessories you should purchase as we move into the new year.
Have a brilliant Christmas everyone!
